Following the last horse to trot in the Calgary Stampede Parade, approximately 700 community leaders, elected officials, partners, allies, and friends saddled up for our annual Spuds & Suds Stampede Breakfast! CIJA, CJPAC, Calgary Jewish Federation, Jewish Federation of Edmonton, and Allies For A Strong Canada came together to host this important community-building event. Bringing together leaders from government, business, and Alberta's Jewish community, this annual tradition helps strengthen relationships, spark meaningful conversations, and build connections across sectors. The sun is shining and it's time to get outside! It's the perfect time for a JAC Summer Hike! On Sunday, August 9, we're hitting the beautiful Mount Hoffman Trail for a day of fresh mountain air, incredible views, and great company. We'll be hiking from 11:00am to approximately 3:15pm, with timing depending on breaks, weather, and how long we spend soaking in the scenery. If you are part of the JAC (Jewish Adult Calgary) demographic of ages 23 to 40, this is a great chance to get outside, stay active, meet new people, and strengthen friendships while making the most of summer.
