CEO message to the community
Friend!

Good morning.

Federation coordinated a third Violent Intruder Preparedness Response (VIPR) Training for our community on Wednesday evening hosted by Congregation Beth Sholom in Dover. We sincerely appreciate the ongoing support of our local law enforcement and in particular, Detective Tim Kerstetter, for facilitating all three training sessions.

We also wish a hearty Mazel Tov to Federation JCRC Chair, Jenn Steinberg, who received the American Jewish Committee (AJC) Murray Friedman Emerging Leader Award at their Global Forum in Philadelphia Wednesday evening.

Later this morning, Senior Vice President/Financial Resource Development, Wendy Berger, and I will be meeting with the Seaside Jewish Community leadership in Rehoboth Beach.

Our Holocaust Education Committee is coordinating a free Teacher's Trip to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum on Tuesday, June 25th (see information below). The HEC sponsors annual trips to the USHMM for educators and law enforcement each year.

I also hope to see many of you on Tuesday evening at Wilmington Brew Works at 7:00pm for An Evening with Grammy Award-Winning Singer/Songwriter, Ari Hest, co-sponsored by Federation and the Siegel JCC (see flyer below).
