The Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and the City are conducting a study at the intersection of Commerce Way, Presidential Way, and Atlantic Avenue. We are interested in hearing about how you travel through this intersection and how safe you feel when doing so. This feedback will help the MPO and City of Woburn to improve safety in this area.

The Middlesex 3 Coalition is hosting an event in Woburn where industry leaders, innovators, and community stakeholders come together to explore the intersection of real estate and cleantech. This event will highlight the latest cleantech trends, opportunities, and challenges, focusing on how our region can collaborate to attract and grow the cleantech industry.

The Boston Real Estate Times writes that Daqus Energy has set up shop at 3 Gill Street, within Woburn's climate tech cluster. The 3,900-square-foot facility is Daqus’ first dedicated space and will house its administrative and research and development functions. Daqus Energy aims to accelerate the global shift toward clean, renewable energy with the introduction of a more efficient lithium-ion battery.

According to the Boston Business Journal, Woburn company, Veir, has invented a system to quickly and seamlessly provide power to data centers. Veir uses tapes made of a unique,superconducting material to carry electricity. The solution delivers up to ten times the power of traditional cables while operating at the same voltage.

Business Wire reports that Woburn based company, Ossio, announced it recently closed on $27.6 million in equity funding to rapidly scale all aspects of its commercial efforts, including a new product pipeline, sales channel and medical education. Ossio is a fast-growing medical device company focused on evolving orthopedic surgery with bio-integrative fixation technology.
