Because of the unusual times we are all experiencing, and the importance of the mission, we will continue our relationship with the migrant farmers in a different way by:
  • Distributing messages written by our church of thanks and the Gospel hope & assurance of God's love. We need to receive these messages by this coming Saturday (August 1)
  • Distributing the customary bags of food staples
  • Including copies of More Than A Carpenter in Spanish and access to Christian online videos
  • Including gift cards toward the purchase of children’s clothing

We need 58 messages written by you and your family to include in the bags. These messages can be in Spanish or English and include prayers, Scripture with words of hope & comfort, or pictures drawn by children expressing their gratitude. They can be mailed to TBC or emailed to Lenora Kwok at kwokla@gmail.com. PLEASE SEND THEM BY THIS SATURDAY (AUGUST 1).

We also need two teams of 2 or 3 people who could help deliver the bags on TUESDAY (AUGUST 4) at 5:00 p.m.

In times like these, more than ever, we all need our Savior, Comforter, and Firm Foundation. For the past 7 years, Tiburon Baptist Church, in partnership with Pole Line Baptist Church, have brought the Gospel, Vacation Bible School, gifts of new clothing for school aged children, bags of food staples, and other services to the migrant farm workers at the center near Davis. We know that our migrant farm workers make it possible for us to have fresh food on our tables by their backbreaking hard work for minimal wages and migrant life. We want them to know that we appreciate their work and provide the message of God’s Love for each of them.

If you have any questions, please email Lenora Kwok at kwokla@gmail.com .
