Flint Repertory Theatre
Read this MLive article about Michigan Theater groups coming back.
“We need theatre to tell us stories about what it means to be human. After everybody’s been vaccinated, we’re all going to come stumbling out of our houses and want to connect with other people. We have a primal need to gather around the fire and share stories. That’s what theatre is. Zoom plays and Netflix can’t ever replace that. It’s about being with other people in a room, breathing the same air, laughing and crying together, experiencing stories together that illuminate the human experience and make you feel less alone. We’re going to need that more than ever after this.”
- Michael Lluberes, Producing Artistic Director of Flint Repertory Theatre.

Message from the executive office
As we enjoy our unseasonably beautiful weather we are in the thick of planning for the summer months to provide wonderful opportunities to enjoy live performances out of doors. You’ll hear more in the coming weeks.

We are also close to finalizing the FSO and Repertory Theatre 2021-22 Seasons. Our approach will continue to be geared to safety considerations for our patrons and performers which means there will be creative adjustments that allow us to be together for live performing arts.

We look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks!

Have a wonderful weekend, stay safe!

Sincerely,
Rodney Lontine
