Do You Feel Anger? by Mara Nelson-Greenberg is a surreal workplace comedy about the absurdity—and the danger—of a world where some people’s feelings matter more than others’. The show premiered at the 2018 Humana Festival of New American Plays. Show dates are Feb. 6, 7, 9, 13 and 15 at various times. Recommended for ages 16+. Tickets are $15/person. 

Do You Feel Anger?

Aim for the heart at Cupid’s Dart, a fun learning experience at the Falls of the Ohio State Park! On Feb. 9 from 3 – 4 p.m., children can join volunteer and science educator Laura Swessel for a hands-on program where they'll make and launch mini arrows at a heart-shaped target, learning about trajectory and force as they shoot their arrows.

The Form Not Function Quilt Art Biennial exhibit is on display Now – Apr. 12 at the Floyd County Carnegie Library Cultural Arts Center in New Albany. The exhibit features 20 quilts selected by guest jurors and created by artists from across the country. Admission is free.

Kindle the Flame at the Vintage Fire Museum from 5-7 p.m. on Feb. 14. Couples can enjoy a champagne toast, pose for a photo on a vintage fire truck and explore the Jeffersonville attraction, which will be softly lit to offer a romantic atmosphere. Guests will receive a package of Schimpff’s Confectionery’s famous Cinnamon Red Hots. The cost is $10/person or $5/person for Vintage Fire Museum members.

Enjoy a special after-hours Valentine’s Dinner from 6:30 - 8 p.m. on Feb. 14 at Huber’s Orchard & Winery. Enjoy the romantic atmosphere while indulging in a delicious four-course meal. Looking to make it even more special? Add on the Sweetheart Package to enjoy a bottle of wine, custom chocolates from Schimpff's Confectionery, and a rose. Seating is limited, so book your spots early!

New Albany art gallery Chestnuts and Pearls is hosting a group exhibition, Blacks Against the Wall Now – Feb. 22. Curated by local Black artist Jes Allen, the exhibition celebrates contemporary art made by Black artists from both Indiana and Kentucky. This exhibition is free and open to the public. Celebrate Black History Month at the Floyd County Carnegie Library Cultural Arts Center this February. Local author and historian Pam Peters will discuss Memory and the Underground Railroad in Floyd County: Looking Back, Moving Forward, from 1 – 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15.  Attend Art History Illustrated: The White Gaze, a talk on the portrayal of people of color in Western art from 5:30 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20.
