Embroidery Club

We are constantly getting new embroidery customers needing help on their own different projects. Many have asked if we offer an embroidery class similar to our sewing classes. To accommodate this need for different types of help, we have decided to go to an open format where you bring your own project you would like help with. Whether you need help understanding what products to use, or what the instructions are trying to explain (lol), we will be here to help you through it. We'll also share our tips and tricks to save you time and money (trial and error) and a tons of heartache.

This month we will still have a specific project for those who want it. The St Patrick's kitchen towel holder, pictured to the left, is a cute decorative addition to any home and great as a hostess gift. We will supply everything for the project and you only need to bring your machine/hoops and some green and gold threads.

We think this will be the answer to many embroidery customers who are anxious to learn more but don't know how to get answers to questions they have about their project. Plus who doesn't like a little hand holding when your doing something new? We heard you, and hope this will be such a success we will then offer it on a weekly basis.

Cost is $30 for St Pat's class towel holder supplies or $25 if you are bringing your own project to work on.

Group Classes

Now that Season is in full swing we are experiencing waiting list for classes. Please be sure to make a reservation for yourself and if you cannot make a class you had reserved, we appreciate your calling to cancel. We will be happy to forgive the first time you forget to cancel but future misses will be counted as one lesson in your package. We hate putting students on a waiting list who could of come if another student would of called to cancel their spot rather than just not showing up. Remember Karma goes both ways!

Sewing Feet, Tools and Attachments

The Teflon Foot is great for those hard to sew sticky fabrics like vinyl, leather, suede etc. The coated foot prevents the fabric from tugging against the fabric and will allow it to glide through easily.

Sew many people didn't know you could sew regular buttons on with your machine. The Button Foot is great and sews buttons on quicker, better and prettier than most of us do by hand. lol

A Narrow Foot is your go to foot when you want to get in tight places like sewing cording, zippers and when you want to do detail task like attaching trims and ribbons. It gets you close to where you want to sew and you can see where you are sewing better!
