I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream!
Thanks to the generosity of a thoughtful donor, our staff and residents were treated to a cool surprise—ice cream for everyone! From classic cones to sweet sundaes, the treats brought plenty of smiles and a refreshing break on a summer day.
What a delightful way to share joy and show appreciation for our amazing community!

Mission Excellence Award Winner
Congratulations to the Mission Excellence winner, Ryan, Environmental Services!
Nomination: "Ryan saved my eyes from going bling by shielding them from constant heat and air. Before his help my dry eyes were getting so bad they could not open. Also he helped me find my best friend, Joan, at St. Mary's."

Volunteer Outing
Our incredible volunteers recently gathered for a fun evening at Time Out. It was more than just sharing a meal—it was a chance to connect, laugh, and strengthen the bonds that make our volunteer community so special.
If you're looking to get involved, make new connections, and positively impact the lives of our residents (and your own!), reach out to Lauren to learn about volunteer opportunities at Felician Village.
| | | Everyone was a winner! The Court residents got to play a lively game of Human Slot Machine with some very special guest helpers – Raelyn, Jax & Josie! | | | Crossfire Ranch welcomed Felician Village residents back for another visit. We enjoyed soaking up the sunshine and fresh air while residents learned about the organization’s mission, and had the opportunity to experience some hands-on feeding and brushing the horses. A great reminder of how important connection to nature and new experiences are. | | |
Helping Hands: Community Volunteers Assemble Gazebos
A huge THANK YOU to Manitowoc Tool & Manufacturing LLC and REMAX Port Cities, Realtors for helping us bring two beautiful new gazebos to life across our campus! These spaces will give our residents and families more places to relax, visit, and enjoy the outdoors. Your generosity and hard work truly make a difference in their daily lives.
If your employer or group is looking for a meaningful way to give back, contact Lauren, Membership & Volunteer Supervisor.

Elvis was in the Building
Before the evening concert on August 6, Elvis tribute artist, John Hardginski, performed a special afternoon show in the Village Hall for the assisted living and St. Mary's residents.
Residents lit up as Elvis serenaded them with the songs of their youth—songs that brought back first dances, old friends, and cherished moments. It was a beautiful reminder that joy, music, and connection never
grow old.

Cars, Classics & The King!
We ended our summer concert series with a rockin’ good time! Residents, families and friends cruised through rows of classic cars before being all shook up by an unforgettable performance from Elvis tribute artist, John Hardginski.
Congratulations to Ron, owner of a 1936 Chevy, whose car was voted as the fan favorite!
From chrome to “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” it was a night full of nostalgia, music, and memories. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this summer one for the books!

On August 3, 2025, Villa resident, Harriet celebrated her 100th Birthday!
Harriet and her late husband, Lester, moved onto the campus in 1988, one of the first residents who lived at The Gardens.
Her bright spirit and kind heart have touched so many—here’s to a truly unforgettable milestone!

Seafood Boil
Gardens residents gathered on the patio for a classic fish boil —and the weather couldn’t have been better. Mussels, snow crab, clams, shrimp, potatoes, corn, sausage—paired with a refreshing summer drink and a fruity dessert—it was a
delicious feast from start to finish.

Brews
Gina Krahn from Cool City Brewing Company for sharing your knowledge and passion for brewing! Your delicious samples and beer-making insights made the event truly enjoyable. Such a fun
(and tasty) day on the patio!

Pigeons on the Patio
The Gardens enjoyed a fascinating visit from Mark Maurer, son-in-law of one of our residents. Mark’s passion for homing pigeons began when he was a child, and he picked it back up over 25 years ago.
He shared his knowledge, stories, and even a handout filled with interesting facts about these remarkable birds. Residents had plenty of questions, and Mark was more than happy to answer each one with enthusiasm.

95+ Club
The 95+ Club took over the patio. Between swapping stories about canning, county fairs, kids, and holidays, they enjoyed some
sweet strawberry shortcake. The conversation (and the sunshine)
brought smiles all around.
