Aloha 'Ohana
Thursday, August 13 was an incredible afternoon of fun, laughter, and togetherness at our Luau Family Fest! You could feel the joy all around. So many residents, families, friends, volunteers and staff came together to celebrate our Felician Village ‘Ohana.
From Elvis and bingo to games, face painting, temporary tattoos, dinner and the ever-popular dunk tank, there was plenty of fun for everyone!
But the very best part? Seeing our Felician Village community come together. The time spent with one another made this a truly special celebration.

A Friendship that Keeps Growing
Earlier this year, St. Mary’s resident Dick, planted tomato seeds in his room, carefully nurturing them as they began to grow. Before he could see the full fruit of his labor, Dick passed away in June. His tomato plants, however, continued to grow. They were replanted in raised garden beds on the patio, where Dick’s friend and fellow resident, Terry made sure they received plenty of water, pruning and, most importantly, a little extra love. “I wanted to make sure they were taken care of, because Dick was my best friend,” Terry shared. As the plants grew and began producing tomatoes, they became more than just a garden. They became a living reminder of Dick, of the time he spent nurturing something from a tiny seed, and of the friendship that continued even after he was gone. Sometimes, a legacy doesn’t have to be something big. Sometimes, it’s simply something we plant, something we nurture, or the love we leave behind for someone else to carry forward. This summer, Dick’s legacy is still growing and Terry’s commitment to his best friend carries on.

A Cheesy Adventure...
Three restaurants. Three delicious cheese curds. One very important question: Which curd is the best?!
Our taste testers sampled curds from A&W, Culver’s and Late’s, then rated their favorites. And, of course, no Curd Crawl would be complete without a little chocolate milkshake to cleanse the palate between tastings!

Celebrating Centenarians
In August, we celebrated four incredible residents who recently turned 100 years young.
Together, we gathered for a beautiful Mass and were honored to welcome Mayor Justin Nickels, who joined us in recognizing these remarkable centenarians and this extraordinary milestone.
Reaching 100 years is a rare blessing. Each of these residents has lived a century filled with faith, love, resilience, and countless memories, leaving a lasting impact on their families, friends, and our Felician Village community. It was a privilege to celebrate their lives and the legacy they continue to share each day.
Please join us in congratulating these amazing centenarians! What a gift it is to celebrate a century of lives so beautifully lived.
