Mission & Heritage Week
October 4th through October 10th we are celebrated Mission & Heritage Week, a time to honor the vision of Blessed Mary Angela and the enduring legacy of the Felician Sisters around the world.
The week kicked off with a collection drive benefiting Lakeshore Foster Families & Friends, along with hand blessings and donuts shared by Felician Associates. Throughout the week, meaningful moments and special events brought our community together, including a pet blessing led by a Franciscan friar, Curious Conversations with Chaplain Stephanie, Chili for Change, popcorn treats for staff, and a beautiful Felician Associates Renewal of Commitment Mass in the Blessed Angela Chapel.
It was a week filled with compassion, connection, and opportunities to celebrate the mission and spirit of Felician Village.

Mission Excellence Winner
"Marcia recently spearheaded two special
events on behalf of the Felician Sisters' Felician
Associates group. The Associates had a bi-annual retreat at the Sisters' Chalet in Belgium in September. Marcia led the retreat by coordinating the administrative details for the day, including group reflections and a delicious meal. Pastor Matt Sauer was our guest speaker and we were doubly blessed to have Sr. Clarette from FSI also co-lead the event. Marcia kicked off this Mission & Heritage Week on Monday with donuts from her favorite bakery, all the way from Luxemburg! She drove there last Sunday to pick them up! She had so much fun serving the residents, along with Felician Associates, Mike
Miller and Renee. Marcia said, "This is such a special day and week and I can't think of a better way than to begin it with a great donut!" Marcia's heart is so big and she continues to go out of her way to make life extra special for residents and staff. Also, her meticulous touch in the Blessed Angela Chapel. She tends to every detail of the special and holy days. Her tender loving kindness as a mother carries over into her nurturing care for the Chapel."
