We are excited about new equipment we recently added to enhance our diagnostic and surgical procedures. Our new, state-of-the-art radiology (DR) system allows us to capture high-quality images when radilographing our feline patients. This advanced system allows us to take radiographs much faster, the image is available for our veterinarians to see within seconds. Our new radiology software provides highly detailed image quality.
Radiographs or x-rays are extremely helpful in diagnosing and monitoring medical and surgical conditions. X-rays allow us to see what is happening with your cat's bones, lungs, heart, abdomen, oral cavity and other areas of the body. An X-ray can spot a fractured bone, arthritis, detect tumors, bladder stones, even help locate an obstruction or foreign body in your cat's intestine or stomach. Combined with other diagnostic procedures like ultrasound, X-rays can quickly diagnose problems, making treatment faster and easier for your cat and your veterinarian.
