Apparently, I'm not alone.
The comments, texts, and emails I received about my email last week was both comforting and overwhelming - comforting, to know I'm not alone, and overwhelming because there are many of you who feel similarly as I - our plates are full.
There is comfort in knowing that we are not alone. But does that take things off of our (full) plates? Unfortunately, no. But I have found myself remembering the video from Sunday's worship of the 2014 Dartmouth University commencement address by Shonda Rhimes, when she says that she can't do it all. (The whole address is wonderful, but the remarks of which I am speaking begin around the 16:15 mark.) A super-successful businesswoman and working mother, she named that she can't do it all - when she is successful in one area of her life, she is most likely failing in another. We are not alone - and we have each other for support. I encourage you to be ok with asking for the support and help needed to be successful. That is what we are called to do as a body of Christ - a Fellowship Family.

In the midst of the busy-ness of our lives, there should be time for fun! It's a matter of self-care and tending to that area of our lives.
TONIGHT is our Movie night, starting at 6:30. The forecast hasn't held up like we hoped, but the Programs Committee is excited to host dinner and fellowship in the Fellowship Hall, where the movie will also be shown. Invite your friends and neighbors to be a part of the fun!

Sunday will bring another opportunity to worship God together as a Fellowship Family. We will look at a gospel passage that we heard just a few short weeks ago during Holy Week - why would we hear it again? Good question - one that will be answered together on Sunday.
After worship, our Gospel According to Ted Lasso Adult Education series continues. No matter whether you love the show or only heard a bit about it, it doesn't matter! Come to the library and join in the conversation - it would be great to see you!
No matter where it is, I do hope to see you soon!
Best,
Pastor Kathryn

Wondering what to do with all of those grocery shopping bags? The Missions committee will be collecting “gently used” plastic grocery bags for Backpack Beginnings. Please bring any you don’t use to church with you, leaving them on the Missions table in the Dogwood Lobby closest to the double doors leading towards the classrooms.
