I don't know about you, but I found last Sunday to be a wonderful day:
- An extra hour of sleep created a beautiful sunrise to witness on the way in to the church.
- In worship, we remembered the saints and celebrated communion.
- Following worship, some collected food for Greensboro Urban Ministry
- Others learned more about the 2022 budgetary year.
- The only negative that I found was that it got dark so early! But such is the season, right?
Those gathered for worship (in-person and virtually) were introduced to the new Mission Statement that will be adopted at the first of the year - if you'd like to read it again or would like to read it for the first time, it's above.

This Sunday, we will shift our focus from mission to vision - to where God is calling us. I hope you're as excited as I am about how God is at work in the life of the congregation and all that we can do and be moving forward.
Like last week, this Sunday you are invited to join me and members of the Stewardship and Finance Committee in a Cottage Meeting focused on the 2022 mission, vision, and budget of this congregation.

Attention will continue to be paid to Stewardship on the church's social media platforms Did you know that the church's Facebook page is focusing its attention on Stewardship this month as well? "Faith-Filled Friday" is one of those many posts that do that - thanks, Judy, for your responses to those questions. If you would like to participate in answering the same questions for a future post, I encourage you to do so and email your responses to me.
As always, I hope to see you Sunday, whether in-person or virtually - noting that you can now join us virtually via YouTube as well!
Blessings,
Pastor Kathryn

Wondering what to do with all of those grocery shopping bags? The Missions committee will be collecting “gently used” plastic grocery bags for Backpack Beginnings. Please bring any you don’t use to church with you, leaving them on the Missions table in the Dogwood Lobby closest to the double doors leading towards the classrooms.
