Greetings from Pittsburgh!

It has been a week of wonderful connections and reflection through worship, keynote talks, and workshops. So many fantastic points that are helping shape my sabbatical learning, starting in May.

First thing Monday morning, I was quickly made aware of the impending "snowmageddon" headed to North Carolina, which is likely to impact Sunday worship. Waiting until later in the week, when the forecast is more solidly freezing (pun intended), it is obvious that it is unsafe and unwise to try to hold in-person worship on Sunday. Therefore, we will NOT hold in-person worship on Sunday. Instead, we will worship together, online, with a link sent to you first-thing Sunday morning for worship at 10am.

Please keep an eye out for another email, sent on Sunday morning, with the worship service link.

Please note: I am making my way home bright and early tomorrow and will be on continuing education, continuing my study leave through Sunday. I will return to the office on Monday, January 26th (most likely virtually, due to the forecast). If you have a Pastoral Care emergency, please contact Nancy Hull or Rev. Blake Tickle. I will look forward to being back with you and sharing what I learned when I return to the office!

In hopeful joy,

Pastor Kathryn

Stewardship Update

It's not too late to pledge for the 2026 fiscal year!

Do you know why "pledging" is important?

What is "pledging" anyway?

Read more about pledging as a part of our faith here.

The Session and Stewardship Ministry Team are asking those who have yet to pledge - to commit to giving at a certain level for the year - to prayerfully consider doing so. Any pledge or commitment made by a family is not legally binding - although it is desired to be as accurate as possible, there is no legal action taken should you be unable to fulfill the pledge in-full due to any change in your financial situation. It does, however, allow for the Stewardship Ministry Team to have a more accurate picture of anticipated income for the year.

The Church's leadership is confident that God is at work in the life, mission, and ministry of this Fellowship Family and will provide through the generosity of each of its members.
