Fellowship Family,
Happy Wednesday! On this “Thanksgiving Eve” I pray that each of you are well, and that your holiday preparations are coming along nicely. As I reflect upon my blessings in this holiday season, I wanted to be sure to make each of you aware of how grateful I am to serve Fellowship Presbyterian Church and to worship and serve alongside you each week.
I hope that you are also marking your calendars to join us for some very special events in the life of our congregation in the next several weeks, including a potluck, cookie, and gift exchange after worship next week on Sunday December 7th, a concert by Dr. Richard Hodges and Dr. Jim Douglass on Saturday December 13th at 5:00PM in the sanctuary, as well as our annual Lessons & Carols service during the 10:00AM worship time on Sunday December 14th featuring Dr. Hodges again as a special musical guest.
Fellowship family, we are called by God to do the work of love in the world. The Holy Spirit accomplishes God’s work of love and peace through our words and our thoughts and our deeds. I pray in this season of gratitude that you’ll take time to reach out to those people whom God has laid on your heart and on your mind. Let them know you’re thinking of them and praying for them.
I hope to see each of you in worship this Sunday, November 30th as we begin the Advent season, a time of waiting and joyful anticipation for the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
As a reminder, as Pastor Kathryn enjoys some vacation time, please reach out to me or contact the church office with any pastoral care needs or concerns.
