Weekly News & Updates

November 17, 2023

I am excited to report that BOTH the Heating AND Cooling Units in the Choir Room and Sanctuary have been replaced - and I can confirm they are working!

The congregational meeting on Sunday saw the approval of a $30,000 loan through the Presbyterian Investment Loan Program (PILP). There were some questions that were asked after the meeting that, I think, would be great to share answers to - perhaps you, too, have been asking them:

  • The total cost for the 2 HVAC units (the choir room and the sanctuary) is approximately $65,000 in total.
  • The difference between the total and the loan amount is being funded through monies secured by the sale of the church vans in 2021 and the monies from the closing of the preschool.
  • The building reserve fund was not utilized.

I look forward to seeing you on Sunday! Please make sure to read below all of the wonderful things going on in the life of our Fellowship Family. Advent is just around the corner!

With gratitude,

Pastor Kathryn
