Women's Fund Fellowship

The 2024 Women’s Fund Fellowship will award three artists a $1,500 stipend to develop a body of work for exhibit in the main gallery at the OC Center for the Arts in March 2024, Women's History Month. This program is made possible by the Women’s Fund at the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore.


Criteria:

The Fellows will be artists working with a distinct voice and clear mastery of their medium of choice, in any arts discipline (ie visual, dance, film, etc). The selection committee is interested in giving opportunity and a platform to underrepresented artists, as well as those in the early or middle stages of their career.

  • A female artist
  • 18 years of age or older
  • A resident of Worcester, Wicomico, or Somerset county

Orem & Harriet Robinson Fellowship

for Contemporary Art & Community Engagement


The Robinson Fellowship was established to promote understanding of contemporary art through education, outreach, and exhibitions. By tapping the expertise of working artists, educators, and other arts professionals in the region, the Art League adds new art and ideas to the mix of programming offered throughout the year. The Robinson Fellowship is a one-year appointment. A $2,000 stipend is awarded, along with a one-year Art League membership and complimentary invitations to Art League ticketed events. The position is designed to enhance and provide growth for both the artist-fellow and the Art League of Ocean City.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Fellowship


The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Fellowship creates an organizational culture that aligns with our core values of respect, integrity, creativity, excellence, and empowerment. The Fellow provides their input for programs and practices to better promote DEI by engaging with the board, reviewing internal and external communication, and participating in meetings and Art League events. The DEI Fellowship is a one-year appointment. A $2,000 stipend is awarded, along with a one-year Art League membership and complimentary invitations to Art League ticketed events. The position is designed to enhance and provide growth for both the artist-fellow and the Art League of Ocean City.
