ASNR's Call for Committee Volunteers will be sent out on Wednesday, January 22.

Watch your email for details on applying for committee service. Be sure to apply if you are interested in being involved in the Fellowship Directors Committee. Committee terms are one year, with the most recent term beginning in May 2024. If you are a current committee member and you wish to continue volunteering in the same or new capacities, be sure to reapply. 

The Fellowship Directors Meeting at the ASNR 2025 Annual Meeting in Philadelphia will be held Monday, May 19, from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm ET.

The Fellowship Directors Mentorship event at the ASNR 2025 Annual Meeting in Philadelphia will be held Tuesday, May 20, from 2:45 pm-3:45 pm ET. Topics for discussion are being accepted! Email us (or post on Teams) with any topics you would like to see covered at the event.

Don't Forget: Submit Your Member-Centric Strategic Initiative Proposal by January 27

The ASNR Member-Centric Strategic Initiative Program allows any member to propose and develop new programs to improve the ASNR member experience AND receive money from the ASNR reserves to fund those programs. A main requirement is for the proposals to directly benefit the ASNR membership, our profession and our community. All proposals will go through a transparent vetting, scoring and review process. The deadline for proposal submission is Monday, January 27.

ASNR Neuroradiology Fellowship Curriculum Updates

We are happy to announce a reorganization and update of the Neuroradiology Fellowship Curriculum, which can be accessed here. ** Access is available to ASNR members-only.

New this year:

• The videos can now be watched at different speeds if preferred. Just hover over the Settings (cog wheel) button in the toolbar at the bottom of the video to increase or decrease the speed.

• We have updated the curriculum to include the recent talks from the ASNR 2024 meeting. 

• Lectures have now been organized by level — depending on the subspecialty, there is a range of Core, Intermediate, Advanced, and Bonus. 

The Fellowship Curriculum is a wonderful resource and we hope you encourage your fellows to take advantage of it! 

**Some ways to incorporate the FD curriculum into your program:

• Consider requiring a lecture for viewing and then leading a complementary case conference  

• Consider also incorporating some of the Non-interpretive/Finance lectures and recommended articles including those on Healthcare Policy and Quality and Safety to help you address the ACGME requirements in these areas -- these could be required independent viewing, or you could even show the video during dedicated conference time to ensure that all are watching it.
