Dear Neuroradiology Fellowship Directors,
I wanted to let you know that the ASNR’s Comprehensive Neuroradiology Course is all set to return in 2026 and to personally invite you to encourage your fellows to attend. This will be our 5th year of holding this three-day course in which we cover the essentials off all things practical neuroradiology, including adult brain imaging, pediatric neuroradiology, head and neck imaging, spine, and advanced imaging techniques. Lectures are from roughly 8:30 am to 5:00 pm each day and are given by some of the best educators in our field making this a great place to consolidate knowledge.
Back by popular demand this year is the case submission process which may be of particular interest to our trainees. Designed to fulfill the ACGME requirement for scholarly activity, trainees (or faculty!) are invited to submit an interesting or challenging case along with relevant clinical background and salient teaching points. The accepted cases will be presented at TRUE unknowns to our faculty panel of experts during the meeting and attendees will be able to see the thought process as some of the best minds in our field work through a case they have never seen before. This was a lot of fun the last two years, and really engaging for the registrants.
The course this year will be held January 29-31, 2026, at The Pelican Grand Resort in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The ASNR has done a great job locating a beautiful spot that is easy to access from anywhere in the USA, offers great amenities and has access to the beautiful beach along the coast. It is also reasonable in price to allow trainees to attend without stretching the academic budget. We hope this will make it even easier for all to attend who are interested.
Find all the details at https://www.asnr.org/comprehensive-neuroradiology-course/ If you have questions about the course or the case submission process, please feel free to contact me and I hope some of you may join us as well -- we would love to see you!
Best,
