It's
been a busy week --- we usually only send out one email per week, but
we emailed everyone on 4/1 about
Operation Bunny Drop, and if you are on the Peace Felt list, you should
have received that email as well.
This
is our final email of the week :O) our regular newsletter.
May
your heart sing through and within your art,
may the act of creating be a gift to you.
As
always, we wish you happy felting, and let us know if you have any questions
or need any support by emailing us at

Love,

MISSION
#1:
OPERATION BUNNY DROP
Please join us in crafting simple but sturdy soft bunnies
for the children in Japan who are recovering
from the recent natural disasters.
We are working with a group
in Japan who will distribute simple, hand-crafted
bunnies to the children. Liz Minnick, one of our Peace Felt 2010 participants,
is in Japan now and will be taking the bunnies where they are most needed.
Bunnies must be mailed by May 13th.
Even
one bunny can help bring a smile
and touch a child's heart.
free pattern by Hillary Lang
The bunnies
should be a maximum of 10" tall, sturdy but soft,
and with no small parts such as buttons, beads or yarns that could become
a choking hazard. You can felt or sew your bunny, free patterns
are on the facebook page.
Please
refer friends to our
CRAFTS WITH PURPOSE web page
and share your pictures and comments on
our CRAFTS
WITH PURPOSE facebook page.
Just
24 hours after launching this project, over 220 bunnies
had been pledged by loving crafters from the UK, US, Canada,
The Netherlands, Germany and The Czech Republic!

FELTING CORE WOOL FIBER
is wonderful as a base for your needle felting projects.
Many people use it to create base shapes
and then overlay dyed wool on top because it is so affordable.
This is 100% Wool and comes
in 8 oz BAGS.
Merino
Cross felting batts
are excellent for both wet felting
and needle felting - even miniatures!
Needle

in an array of shapes and sizes.
If you've been a felting friend
of ours for any length of time,
you know that Marie loves the metal felting tools and
always
sings their praises. Well now she's added another love...the PEN TOOL.
This light
weight tool is not only good for small surface design, you'll
love it for needle felting 3-D shapes, even your miniatures!
Because the needles are so close together, and because you can easily
change the configuration to 1, 2, or 3 needles,
this tool is a delight to use, even on small shapes!
