Do
you lose track of time when you felt?
Do
you forget to eat and forget your big plans
for doing loads and loads of laundry?
Do
you forget that the floor needs to
be swept and that you had calls to make?
Do you forget to feed the dogs on time,
and decide the trash can really isn't that
full and the weeds in the garden aren't so bad after all?
Yes?
Oh good -- I thought it was just me :o)
For ALL of our Mothers, we wish you
a joy-filled, inspired and
fun MOTHER'S DAY!
As
always, we wish you happy felting,

MISSION
#1:
OPERATION BUNNY DROP
This is the last week to mail off your bunnies :O)
Thanks to everyone who has joined us in crafting simple
but sturdy soft bunnies
for the children in Japan who are recovering
from the recent natural disasters.
We are working with a group
in Japan who will distribute simple, hand-crafted
bunnies to the children. Liz Minnick, one of our Peace Felt 2010 participants,
is in Japan now and will be taking the bunnies where they are most needed.
Bunnies must be mailed by May 13th, but CAN BE MAILED NOW!
Even
one bunny can help bring a smile
and touch a child's heart.
free pattern by Hillary Lang
The bunnies
should be a maximum of 10" tall, sturdy but soft,
and with no small parts such as buttons, beads or yarns that could become
a choking hazard. You can felt or sew your bunny, free patterns
are on the facebook page.
