“When
we engage in what we are naturally suited to do, our work takes on the
quality of play
and it is play that stimulates creativity.”
– Linda Naiman
"I
am a strictly outdoor hobby person...hiking, gardening, horseback riding...
I have horses and dogs and love to garden. For
years I have needed an indoor hobby for winter nights and super hot
days.
I do love to read, but I needed something else.
A friend introduced me to wool felting. I was very worried about not
being artistic or creative
enough to do it...as I cannot draw or paint etc....WELL! I love how
forgiving needle felting is....you can be starting to make one project
and change to another if it does not work out...or add more wool and
change the look. I have even cut off heads and reattached when needed!
LOL! LOVE IT!
I have had get-togethers with friends and it is so much fun!
I
love your merino
batts....got the earth
tones, green
and berries
multi-packs.
I also love the core
wool for bigger projects.
The batts
are by far the easiest to work with. I also have the clover
pen tool that I use with two needles.
Nature is my inspiration...I don't like to be super detailed, so a lot
of my creatures are very simple.
Looking
forward to learning how to wet felt soon!
Thanks! Lila

LIVING FELT Brand Super Premium CW-1
Core Wool Fiber for needle felting.
You will absolutely love
how quickly and easily this merino-cross core wool needle felts!
The fiber has the perfect crimp and provide a wonderful base for
your needle felting projects.
Many people use this core wool to create base shapes and then overlay
dyed or bright white wool on top because it is so affordable. This
wool DOES contain vegetable matter and does have a natural wooly
scent. It is not meant as a clean top surface wool.
