"A true friend never gets in your way unless you happen to be going down."
-
Arnold H. Glasow

Today would be a great day to reach out to just such a friend, one whom perhaps reminds you of your strength and abilities, your talents and brilliance, just when you need to remember it the most.

You ARE brilliant, and your expression is so very needed in this world. Let your soul shine in all you do, say and create today.

We appreciate you & we celebrate your creative voice.

Sue Hale of South Haven, Michegan
needle felted this wonderfu doll she calls Opal!

Sue used the Living Felt Needle Felting a Character Doll Kit
and added her own hand-sewn clothes. Since the kit teaches
"techniques" instead of a rigid pattern, every doll is unique and
results in great individuality from the artist....like those FEET!
I love the big pink toes :O)

Tawana Wood of Commerce, GA wet felted this
lovely scarf as a "practice" piece.

Hi, my name is Tawana Wood and I live in Commerce, GA. Over the Christmas holidays I was surfing the web and discovered the world of wet felting. I had never seen scarfs so beautiful and I wanted to know how they were created. As I conducted my research, I came across your website and loved all of your products. Taking into consideration the fact that I am new to all things wool, I chose to start simple and ordered a couple of wet felting scarf kits.

Someone suggested to me that I may want to create a scarf using cheese cloth as my base, to practice with before proceeding with the silk one, just in case I mess up. I have attached a
photo of my “Cheese Cloth Wet Felted Scarf” as I wanted to share with you my creation.

I love your website along with all you have to offer, and I have shared my new found love with all of my friends. They can’t wait to get started on their own scarfs now. Thank you so much for providing such wonderful products. I hope you have a very blessed day. “

How to Submit Your Photos

We have a few different scarf kits on our website, and
each is available in an array of colors.

You can learn to make a "cobweb" scarf like the one above, or to nuno felt
which is to felt over fabric like Tawana did in her scarf pictured
in our Pic of The Week section of this newsletter.

Once you get the basics down, we have more wool fibers
and even silk scarves so you can make more.

New Zealand Corriedale is great for needle felting,
and can also be used for wetfelting -- although it is not
recommended for scarves and "next to the skin" wear.
For those, use Merino Top.
