"Dreams are renewable. No matter what our age or condition, there are still
untapped possibilities within us and new beauty waiting to be born."

-- Dr. Dale E. Turner

May you reach into your treasure chest of dreams
and aspirations today, and pick one...or two...or even three
and allow yourself to energize the vision and take action
toward the joyful experience of it. You can have it.

We appreciate you. Thank you for sharing your inspired ideas with us all.

Virginia Perry of Knoxville, TN created this wonderful hat with needle felt adornments
You might remember a few weeks back that we shared another hat by Virginia which was
made using our needle felting hat form. What we love about this hat is it shows such a vibrant,
fun and elegant way to use needle felting for surface design. What's especially great about it is that truly anyone
can do it! Needle felting is fun and easy to teach others, and this is a lovely example and inspiration piece.

Virginia reports that she used ultra-suede for the body and crown of the hat,
embroidered the blanket stitch around the crown and then attached the leaves with embroidery and needle felting.
She also offers that ultra-suede can be challenging to sew through.. so you might start with fleece :)

A
s always, we wish you happy felting, and let us know if you have any questions
or need any support by emailing us at customer service@livingfelt.com

With Love,
Marie

It's always a big holiday there and he wants to be prepared for all his guests.

"I started felting when I bought a big bag of wool roving at a Finnish flea market in Lake Worth, Florida.
With needles and a pad from Living Felt I sat down (in 95 heat!) and started
making things for friends and family as the whim struck me, and have been hooked ever since.

My sister and I have always been attracted to/repelled by those creepy, smiley,
prozaced-out pumpkin-headed boys, so I made her one for Halloween.

Thanks for all your inspiration and your wonderful products."

"Jack was made with medium white merino as a core and merino top in for the various colors.
Wire was used inside the stem to allow for curling. Jack stands about 5" tall and has a personality all his own!
