Donor & Volunteer Spotlight: Damien Chaviano

Hi my name is Damien Chaviano and I have been a volunteer board member since 2020. My wife Maggie and I moved to Newton in 2014 where we are raising our three kids Tessa (7), Reese (3) and Brooks (1).  Having worked on several major development projects in Newton I see the importance of Newton Community Pride’s local arts programing on our residents and the community.

Growing up in a household where the arts played a major part in our day-to-day lives, its incredibly exciting to connect both professionally and personally with Newton Community Pride as we expand our mission of bringing more color and creativity to our village centers.  I am especially pleased by our micro grant and high school arts scholarship programs.

My family and I have enjoyed NCP’s events this year, including Tour De Doors and the Artful Piano Project and look forward to what we have planned for 2022. I can see first hand the impact NCP donor dollars are having in our city and happy to be a Benefactor of the Arts sponsor with Newton Community Pride.
Thank You to our 2021 Major Sponsors!
