New 5-Series Fend Data Diodes

Fend’s new 5 Series Data Diodes are almost here! The Fend XE5, SE5, and CE5 will join our family of one-way communication diodes, combining affordable cybersecurity with higher speeds.  Data transfers are faster, and the new devices have the capacity to support an expanded set of communication protocols, all while remaining up to 90% less expensive than legacy data diodes. Fend’s hardware is made in the USA and built to keep attackers out of critical infrastructure. Learn more about our current diodes at or reply to this email for more information.

CISA Shields Up Guidance

As attacks are happening in Ukraine, malicious cyber actors may be targeting U.S. companies. Because of this, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has recently issued a Shields Up warning. Although there is no specific threat at this time, it is important for organizations to prepare for, respond to, and mitigate the impact of cyber-attacks. Use of one-way communication diodes can be an essential way to keep out malicious activity from infiltrating networks. Data is able to flow out while blocking 100% of network intrusion through the diode. To view CISA’s Shields Up Guidance for All Organizations, please click here:
