Crews are hoping to wrap up the roof investigation later this week. Once the investigation is completed, crews can being clearing the roof to prepare it for assessment.
The Shaker Schools Foundation has established the Fernway Fund to help with recovery efforts from the fire. All gifts to the Fernway Fund will be used to support teachers and students as they rebuild and re-envision their learning environments to benefit Fernway Elementary. Also, the Shaker Schools Foundation is collaborating and coordinating with the Shaker Heights Teachers Association and many community members and groups on fundraising efforts. Donate online.
