We are so grateful for everyone who came to support the Friends of Gillette Castle State Park at our recent performances of "Osaki-san, William Gillette's Gentleman Valet". Early reports confirm that guests enjoyed the performance a lot and everyone learned a considerable amount.

Even the Friends of Gillette learned a few things - for example, you will soon see a spelling change from Yukitaka to Yukitaca on our website!

The Ferry event tomorrow is ON!

Clearing around the Osaki house

Volunteers enjoyed some spring cleaning around the Osaki house this month. Many invasive vines were removed, and the ground was completely cleared to protect the house and enable us to start planning the landscape.

Sun., May 17: Castle soft opening 1 - 3 p.m. Help the guides get ready for the season. Enjoy the Castle for a visit before the official opening day. No advance tickets required, donations are appreciated!

Sun., May 17: Guided hikes of the train trails at 11 and 3:30 p.m. Come have a hike before or after your Castle visit!

Sat., May 23: Gillette Castle opens for the season!
