The Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority recently approved an extension of the MHSW Program to September 30, 2021. Consequently, Q3 invoices previously scheduled to be issued on September 30, 2021, will now be issued on July 30, 2021. Final MHSW Program invoices, as per the Approved MHSW Program Extension Addendum, will now be issued to stewards by December 31, 2021.
Stewardship Ontario will implement a fee reduction for the fertilizer, paints & coatings and solvent categories for stewards registered with Stewardship Ontario on July 30, 2021 invoices. Details of fee reduction schedules for fertilizer, paints & coatings and solvent categories are provided below. Stewardship Ontario will continue to assess financial forecasts throughout the wind up process and, if possible, increase fee reduction amounts available for stewards on final MHSW Program invoices.

Fertilizer, paints & coatings, and solvent stewards may also be eligible for a residual fund disbursement following termination of the MHSW Program, if surplus funds exist in the related material reserve categories, following the completion of all Stewardship Ontario financial and program obligations.
