July 21 & 22

Newton Community Pride (NCP) is excited to announce that the 8th Annual Linda Plaut Newton Festival of the Arts is back and scheduled for July 21 & 22, 2023!  This year, NCP is trying something new. The Festival will be a two-day event held in partnership with the Hyde Community Center at the Hyde Playground in Newton Highlands. Friday night programming is tentatively scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm and for Saturday programming, NCP will be hosting 15+ performances on 2 alternating stages all day at the Hyde Playground from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. There will be something for everyone to enjoy - musical performances, visual arts, vendor/craft booths, and more!

The Linda Plaut Festival of the Arts has been a showcase of Newton and regional talent for years and NCP is excited to once again bring a summer weekend of music and family-friendly entertainment. Thank you to our Presenting Sponsor, The Village Bank.

Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more information in the next couple of months.  All festival performances are free, accessible, and open for all to enjoy.

Good Luck Marathon Runners!

We have huge community pride for the runners of the Boston Marathon! Newton's Heartbreak Hill is no easy feat to accomplish after running 20 miles! If you are a spectator or runner NCP hopes you enjoy the Celebrate Newton Banners along Commonwealth Ave celebrating our great City and greeting runners in 8 different languages along the way. Good luck marathoners!
