Public Power Benefit Expansion

(FDT-152)

The construction year for South Lakeshore Chelan will be 2024-2025, with preparations and planning starting this year. The expansion will utilize the following schedule:


Phase I - Q3/Q4 2023 - Project planning and easement acquisition

Phase II - Q3/Q4 2023 - Engagement with stakeholders

Phase III - 2024-2025 - Construction

Chumstick Progress Report

District engineers and crews are in the final stages of designing and constructing Chumstick orders, with only 12 orders remaining in various stages ranging from pending easement or customer work, pending contractor work or scheduling or are new orders. We hope to wrap up the orders we can work before the end of year to be ready to start fielding Entiat FDT-175 in the spring of 2024.


Premises with valid easements within these two tower areas will be eligible for free* installations under the PPB (Public Power Benefit) program through the end of 2023.

Entiat River Road Progress Report

Construction on the infrastructure for Entiat River Road (FDT-175) is 75% complete. Splicing continues and we anticipate being on schedule for this build area, with orders starting to be fielded in 2024. A letter was sent to all eligible residents in this build area this past February, informing them of the work and anticipated work schedule, as well as their eligibility for PPB line extensions*.


Addresses residing in FDT-176 will not be included in this initial build.
