In this season of preparation and introspection, we reflect on the many gifts we have received this year. Our deepest thanks go out to all of our friends, for the many delights you have brought to us in this year.  We are grateful for your business, of course, but we cherish more the friendships we developed over a ball of yarn. We wish you all many blessings in the New Year.

Join us on  December 5  for our Christmas Open House. We will have a selection of last minute projects, plenty of gifts for the yarniac in your life, many ready-made gift items, and, of course, refreshments!  Check out our new expansion space, share a cup of cheer and stay for Berea's Christmas Parade beginning at  6:00 p.m.

Woven Scarf - This is a quick project for the person who loves color and texture, without a needle or hook. Weave together pencil roving to create a lovely fabric, then wet felt to set the design. In two hours you have a finished project for yourself or to give.  One braid of roving will make two or three scarves, depending on the dimensions you choose. Class fee is $20, plus materials.  December 11 at 3:00 and again  December 19 at 2:00. No experience required. this class is suitable for children ages 8 and up.

Men's Night!

Our annual tradition continues on  Monday, December 21 . Nubs the Yarn Guy will be here all day, and we'll stay opened until  6:30  that evening. Give us your wish list in advance, or trust us to help your fella select the perfect gift for you!   We have some great kits, needle sets, drop spindle kits, and, of course, gift certificates. Complementary gift packaging this night only, some manly snacks too.

Here's a great gift idea - needle felting kits! One of our local producers has assembled a few large kits, available only at Fiber Frenzy. Each kit contains a good quantity of felt fabric, the "canvas" on which to create a fiber "painting", generous quantities of fiber in a full pallet of colors, and four needles in a great holder.  These kits are suitable for teens, or any creative person in your life!

Wheels and Looms! - Folks are moving and must reduce their fiber equipment inventories.  Contact us for information on a Schacht 25", 8 harness loom, and a 45" 12 harness LeClerc loom with matching bench.  We have 2 beginner spinning wheels in the shop, plus links to a more versatile wheel for sale.

Also available is a restored antique sock knitting machine, in very good working order, with all the attachments and documentation.

Gift Certificates Available

If you are uncertain about a gift for a friend or family member who loves to knit, crochet, weave, or spin, consider giving a gift certificate allowing them to decide for themselves what the perfect gift is.  You can also give a gift certificate for lessons or classes in you know someone who wants to learn to knit, crochet, or spin.
