Christmas is right around the corner and we have great things planned for you this month.

What are you yarning for this Christmas? It's fine to tell Santa, but if you tell us, we'll be sure to share that with your special someone who comes shopping for your special something.  Drop off your wish list - we are happy to assist your shoppers.

Throughout December, get 10% off 1 ball of commercial yarn, 15% off 2 balls, 20% off 3 or more.

Project Peace 2017 begins  December 1. This is a KAL by Christina Campbell, AKA The Healthy Knitter.  Christina will send out a meditation on peace every day, for contemplation as you knit.  Her goal is to provide knitters with a positive way to send peace out in the world, one stitch at a time.  We will knit together in the shop at  4:00 on Fridays,  December 1, 8, and 15 and review the week's meditations at that time. Then, on  Thursday, December 21, we will host a World Wide Knit for Peace day.  Here's the link to the Ravelry Project Peace:

After all, who doesn't need a little peace in her life?

Berea's Christmas Parade is December 2 and will pass right by Fiber Frenzy.  Stop in for Open House all afternoon.  Not only will we have seasonal refreshments, but you can also participate in our Spindle Spree from 1 - 4 featuring Jessica and Teresa.  They can have you spinning in 10 minutes or less and share great gift ideas. This day only, you will find a wide assortment of finished items ready for gifting.

Have you met the newest resident of the Old Town Artist Village?  We welcome our new neighbor, Becky Shearer of Old Town Fabrics!  Becky will cross the street to Fiber Frenzy on Thursday evening, December 7 and hold a quick and easy project class beginning at 5:00.  In less than an hour you can complete a Soup Bowl Hot Pad!  All materials are included in the price of $19.00.  Bring your sewing machine and the regular tools (pins, ripper, scissors, bobbin, etc).  Once you've made one, you'll want to make a bunch.  These make great gifts, so stock up on supply kits, too.

Ballyhoo Farm and Fiber Emporium will bring its trunk show to Fiber Frenzy on  Saturday, December 9 , from  1 - 4 p.m.   Come meet Madeline and learn about her adventures in shepherding.  She keeps a diverse flock of rare breeds that you are sure to love.  You won't want to miss this one!

Still wondering about a gift for that certain person who needs something special?   Create something with your own two hands through Berea's Make It Take It Give It workshops throughout December.  These are quick classes that will end with a wonderful gift, in less than a day.  Check out all the offerings here:

Spinning Day is  December 16!  Yes, we'll spin (or knit, crochet, stitch,  fr og or just  visit).  Bring a snack to share and be sure to wear your favorite Ugly Christmas Sweater!  Prizes may be involved.

December 18-23  several local fiber artists have a secret surprise sale. Stop in that week and stock up on hand spun, indie-dyed and spinning Fiber and save big!

Inventory Reduction Sale  December 26 - 29! If you buy it we don't have to count it!  Four days only save 15% off all commercial yarn and notions. Redeem those gift certificates before the year ends!

As 2017 comes to a close we wish you every comfort and joy and look forward to sharing a very happy and healthy 2018 with you, our dear friends.

We will be CLOSED on Christmas Day & New Year's Day.
