Sandra Day O’Connor, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Sonia Sotomayor—at the height of their influence.
In the wake of Justice Sotomayor’s fraught confirmation, we uncover a profound sisterhood among these three iconic Americans as they inspire, challenge, and pave the way for a new generation of changemakers and trailblazers in American law—all while facing deeply personal struggles of their own.
They confide in one another about equal justice under the law, legal strategy, civic duty, and also about husbands, motherhood, children, dreams, and heartbreak—redefining not just the Court, but the very course of our nation and world.
