Assumption January Men's Shelter: Thanks to Many
Thanks to the many who volunteered (cooks and sleep-over hosts) at the men's shelter this past month. Because of your generosity, we were able to provide a hearty meal and a warm, clean, and safe place to sleep for our guests for 14 nights in January. Special recognition and appreciation is owed to Kathy Reynolds for coordinating all of the volunteers, as well as opening up each night. All our guests came to know and love Kathy(for very good reasons).
For the month of February, our friends at Plymouth Church will be hosting these men. Let us continue to keep our new friends in our prayers.

Palms into Ashes
We will burn last year's palms to make ashes for Ash Wednesday. If you have palms from last year, bring them to Mass and put them in the basket at the back of both churches. We will need to have them by Sunday, February 23, so we can burn the palms the following week (March 2) after the 9:30am Mass at Assumption.
