Dear Christ Church Family and Friends,

You are warmly invited to join us this Sunday, May 3rd, as we gather to celebrate the Fifth Sunday of Easter. Together, we will hear the powerful words of Jesus from John 14:1–6, where he declares:

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life.”

In a world that often feels uncertain and unsettled, this Gospel reminds us that Christ does not simply point us toward a path—he is the path. He is our truth when confusion surrounds us, and our life when hope feels distant.

Come and be renewed in worship, prayer, and community.

All are welcome.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!

Mo Robin

Parish Discernment Sessions (Table Talks)

As we look toward the future God is calling us into, you’re invited to be part of the conversation. We are preparing for “Planting for Tomorrow, Growing in Faith Today: Phase II,” building on the faithful vision that has already blessed our church in so many ways.

Before any plans are made, we want to listen.

Join us for "Table Talks" beginning May 3, following the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. services, as we reflect together on where God is at work and how we are being called to grow.

Your voice matters!

Volunteers Needed: Brave HeARTS Fine Arts Camp

June 15–19 | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

This summer, Christ Church will welcome 50 children for a week of music, art, drama, and creativity—and we’d love for you to be part of it.

Brave HeARTS Camp is joyful, energetic, and deeply meaningful work. With professional teaching artists leading each area, volunteers are free to build relationships, support the children, and be part of something truly special.

We are looking for:

 Classroom Assistants (3–4)

Support our teaching artists and help create a positive, engaging environment for children

 Food Coordinator (1)

Plan and organize simple lunches and snacks for the week

 Kitchen Assistants (2 per day)

Help prepare, serve, and clean up meals

 Float/Runner (1)

Assist with transitions, supplies, and general needs throughout the day

 Check-In/Check-Out Volunteers (1–2)

Welcome families and help ensure smooth and safe arrival/dismissal

You don’t need to be an artist or musician—just someone, of any age, who enjoys working with children and wants to support a vibrant ministry of our church.

This is a wonderful opportunity to:

 Connect with children and families

 Serve alongside others in a fun, collaborative environment

 Help Christ Church extend its welcome into the community

Treasurer Transition Announcement

After many faithful years of service, Carole Lewis has shared that she plans to retire as parish treasurer this summer. We are deeply grateful for her careful stewardship, dedication, and the countless quiet ways she has supported the ministry of our church.

As we prepare for this transition, we are now seeking someone willing to serve as our next treasurer.

The role involves working with the rector and vestry to track income and expenses and provide simple financial reports. The time commitment is small — only a few hours per week — and training/support will be provided during the transition. It is a voluntary position.

You do not need to be an accountant, but comfort with numbers, attention to detail, and reliability are important.

If you're interested or would like to learn more, please speak with Mo. Robin or a Vestry member, and keep this transition in your prayers.
