Greetings from Lokitaung and St. Mark's Parish
We are grateful to God who has enabled us to begin the Lenten season well. We also wish you good preparations as we approach Easter festivities.
We thank God that you came out of the freezing Winter season. Here in Lokitaung, it's been warm, but the rainy season seems to be beginning. Pray for us because it usually destroys a lot of property and even causes loss of lives.
We continue to wait for your coming to Lokitaung. We have just ended a week in which we were having you as our main intention. Let us keep each other in prayers.
Blessings blessings blessings.
Fr. Edwin

SJAC (Social Justice Action Committee) Film Night
Get to know Leo From Chicago at the SJAC-sponsored potluck supper and film screening of the documentary retracing the story, family roots, studies, and Augustinian vocation of Robert Francis Prevost in his native United States. After the film, Fr. Anthony Andreassi, and Oratory parishioners Dominic Preziosi, editor of Commonweal, and Julius Lang will lead a discussion on the first American Pope, the Augustinians, and what it could mean for our Church today and in the future. Please bring a meatless dish, treat, or beverage to share.

Reconciliation Monday
As we prepare for Easter, in addition to our regular weekly times for confession, we will observe “Reconciliation Monday." Confessions will be available at various times at both Assumption and St. Boniface, and we will celebrate a communal penance service (with confessions) at St. Boniface at 7:00pm. Click here for the schedule.
