We have so much to be thankful on Thanksgiving, especially this Thanksgiving. With conflict raging all around us, it is a time to pause and reflect and find the peace that comes from a place of empathy toward others.
There are many ways to give. Reach out to someone in your neighborhood who is lonely and in need of companionship, a helping hand, or a warm pumpkin pie. We are one family here in Palm Beach and the more we recognize our shared efforts, the more we will find empathy with each other.
Let us be thankful for our country, our freedoms, our faith, our family and always let’s be thankful for each other.
Happy Thanksgiving Palm Beach!

Palm Beach County is experiencing a large influx of Jewish organizations wanting to make our County their home. Finding the right location for Chabads and Jewish Day Schools has been a challenge. It will be important for us in the County to assist these new congregations in finding the appropriate locations for our new residents.
For this reason, I invited a number of Rabbis, as well as Heads of organizations to meet directly with the Directors of County Departments. It is only the beginning of a conversation. I am committed to working with our newest neighbors and welcoming them to new homes.

Farmers Roundtable Meeting
|
|
The importance of agriculture in Palm Beach County is paramount. In order to promote agriculture, we need to listen to our farmers and seek to address their needs. For this reason, I assembled our core group of legacy farmers to meet with the State Commissioner of Agriculture, Wilton Simpson.
Commissioner Simpson, a farmer himself, listened to a candid discussion of the struggles of our legacy farmers. It is forums such as these that will best serve the unique needs of farming in Palm Beach County.
