Actions You Can Take Now
1. Attend the December 10 hearing in Tallahassee. Fill out speaker cards and be present to visually demonstrate opposition to mid-decade redistricting. Click to learn more.
2. Call House Select Committee on Redistricting members the day before the hearing to voice your opposition. (Common Cause Tool Kit)
3. Contact your state senators and representatives by phone and email. Express your opposition and encourage them to publicly stand against these redistricting efforts.
4. Share and use the Common Cause Tool Kit, which includes scripts, media, and contact information, to mobilize others and take ongoing action throughout the legislative session.
5. If possible, visit your state senator and representative's offices in Tallahassee. Express your opposition in person and provide informational one-pagers.
6. Reach out to State Senator Kathleen Passidomo, especially due to her role as Senate Rules Chair, and other relevant representatives to urge them to oppose mid-decade redistricting.
