Whether it feels like it or not, the end of winter is near, which can only mean one thing: NIPNLG's Spring CLE is right around the corner!

Along with expanding our CLE programming and gearing up to share space with many of you, we are continuing to engage advocacy and litigation at the state and federal level. Read on for some highlights of our recent work.

Responding to Texas Governor Abbott's State of the State

Last week, Texas Governor Greg Abbott spoke about his legislative priorities during the annual State of the State address. In his address, he focused heavily on border policies, specifically his multi-billion dollar scheme, Operation Lone Star. To respond, the National Immigration Project joined community organizations and civil rights groups to issue a statement calling for an end to Operation Lone Star.
