Responding to Texas Governor Abbott's State of the State

Last week, Texas Governor Greg Abbott spoke about his legislative priorities during the annual State of the State address. In his address, he focused heavily on border policies, specifically his multi-billion dollar scheme, Operation Lone Star. To respond, the National Immigration Project joined community organizations and civil rights groups to issue a statement calling for an end to Operation Lone Star.
