Fighting the good fight requires faith. To win spiritual battles, we must believe we will win. When we maintain faith in the battle, standing our ground with a mindset of peace, we will be victorious. When God created the world, He spoke everything into existence. This is our first example of faith demonstrated through the power of the spoken word. God’s Word gets its power through the love that is in God. Fear is an enemy that will shatter the shield that protects us from the poison darts of Satan. When the king of Syria was attempting to destroy Israel, he was defeated by words spoken in prayer.

With the seriousness of the battle that we are facing, it seems only right that we as warriors make sure we are following all the strategic plans of war according to the leading of the Lord Jesus Christ. We need precise and exact directions in order to accomplish the will of God. We do not have time or energy left to allow ourselves to shoot with a scattergun. We need to release every prayer straight as an arrow so it will be aimed precisely at the enemies’ tactics.

The ever-increasing push of evil into our societies has caused alarm in the church world, and rightly so. Every day we are fighting and warring in the spirit, and we consistently hear the prophecies and warnings of where this evil will take us.
