What happens with the supplies you collect?
Backpacks filled with grade-appropriate school supplies are distributed to children through our Resource Center as well as our agency partners, which include schools, human services organizations, at-risk youth centers, homeless shelters and foster care organizations.
How can I increase my support?
You can increase your support of the Fill A Backpack program by making or encouraging others to make monetary donations.
For every $50 raised, we can provide a child in need with a brand new backpack filled with grade-appropriate school supplies that will not only provide the essential items necessary for academic success, but will also allow a child to start the school year with dignity.
