Hey Parents!

THIS Sunday, June 14th, we will commission our students at the 9:45 service and have a quick mission trip meeting at noon to go over all the mission trip information you need to know! If your student is going for the first time, we HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to come to this meeting!


This is also a great time to bring your final payments, and we can make a copy of your insurance card!

The church will be praying over all of our students and leaders at the 9:45 service this Sunday, June 14th! Please try your best to be there!

Mission Trip Meeting

This Sunday! | Noon

We are meeting upstairs in the Youth Worship Room and will go over all the details for parents and students! If you need to check on your balance or need help with paperwork, this would be an excellent opportunity to do that!

Cost and Payments of Mission Trip | $600


The total cost of mission trip is $600.


You can send a check payable to FMCBA or pay through the website/app where you registered for mission trip!


Just contact Andrew and Emma for any information on payment plans, scholarships, or anything else that you might need to help your student have an amazing, impactful week serving God's children!

Group Missions Online Form needs to be filled out

Health Insurance Card Copy needs to be turned in


Every leader and student will need to complete the online group mission form in the link provided. This is different then the form you filled out to let us know your student is going. You will also need to make a copy of the front and back of their health insurance card to turn in.

We are asking all students to report at 8:00 am on Saturday, June 20th, and we will be returning home between 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm on Saturday, June 27th.

Packing List


Group Mission Trip Packing List


  • Air mattress, cot, or foam pad (optional for our first night in the church) 
  • Sleeping bag or bedding (twin sized; we will have beds at the school) 
  • Blanket and pillow 
  • Towels and washcloths 
  • Modest swimsuit and shower shoes 
  • Toothpaste and toothbrush 
  • Soap and shampoo 
  • Any prescription medications (in original containers, put in a zip lock bag, labeled with your students name)
  • Laundry/plastic bags (for dirty clothing) 
  • Long work pants or jeans 
  • Modest shorts 
  • Work t-shirts 
  • Pajamas, socks, and underwear 
  • Work boots or sturdy shoes 
  • Water bottle (refillable, to be used at your work site) 
  • Bible 
  • Tools from the Tool List 
  • Jacket 
  • Sweatshirt
  • Sunglasses 
  • Sunscreen 
  • Bandana, a hat, or visor 
  • Insect repellent  
  • Rain gear
  • Flashlight
  • Spending money 
  • Pen/pencil for program and devotions



What Not To Bring:

  • Alcohol, tobacco products, vapes, or illegal drugs 
  • Laptops/Expensive electronics
  • Expensive clothes or jewelry 
  • Anything really valuable 
  • Fireworks, weapons, or toy guns 
  • Skimpy or revealing clothes 
  • Please bring clothes that are appropriate in any situation. Longer shorts, t-shirts, modest swimsuits, etc. 

Maybe Bring:

  • Snacks for the road and to share
  • Board games, card games, car games, etc.
  • Frisbee, spike ball net, football
  • Camping chair
  • Power strip/extention cord for charging
  • Personal Fan
  • Musical Instrument


Group Mission Trip Tool List

  • Tool Tub
  • Safety goggles 
  • Work gloves 
  • N-95 disposable dust mask (used when scraping paint) (5 per person)
  • A tool pouch, bag, or bucket 
  • Hammer (12 oz. or larger)
  • Tape measure (16’ or 25’) 
  • Carpenter’s pencil
  • Paintbrushes: a variety of sizes 
  • Paint roller handle 
  • Paint roller cover(s) (3 per person) 
  • Paint tray with liners 
  • Paint scraper and/or wire brush 

Tool Drop off | Friday, June 19th | 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm


Bring the following things to the church to pack up on Friday! After the students drop off their tools, they will be able to sign up for their van!


  • Tool Box
  • Week Long Bag
  • Health Insurance Card or copy of card

Fun Day Activity | $25

Malibu Jack's Springfield


We are asking all students to bring $25 in cash with them either to tool drop off Friday night or to load up the vans Saturday morning for our fun day activity!

Drug and Alcohol Policy

It is the policy of First Methodist Church and United Student Ministries that any student found in possession of drugs (including vape pens, cigarettes, and marijuana), alcohol, or firearms will be sent home.


It is the responsibility of the parent to either drive up and pick their student up or pay for a plane ticket back to Tulsa International Airport.
