This is the mission of the Truman Heartland Community Foundation. We accomplish this by supporting nonprofits through the generosity of our family of donors like you.

We want to let you know about an exciting opportunity to expand the impact of your grantmaking to fully fund 67 grants for nonprofits serving Eastern Jackson and Cass County communities.

Our Grants Committee Reviewed 150 Applications for 2025!

We reviewed the following applications:

119 for the Community Grants program
31 for the Jelley Family Foundation
Totaling $1.2 Million in funding requests!

We chose a total of 67 proposals to support, and are proud to announce $438,000 in grant funding for them.

However, the total amount requested by these 67 awardees exceeded $571,000.

We still need $134,000 to fully fund them.

HELP TO FILL THE GAP OF $134,000!

Since we cannot provide full funding for all the worthwhile proposals we received, we would like to offer you the opportunity to FILL THE GAP for these 34 outstanding agencies and programs that were chosen, but not fully funded.
