Filled with Gratitude

Throughout the year, CCDO is able to change countless lives with the help of our dedicated staff and generous donors. From one donation of a water well to recurring grants from foundations, we are so grateful for all who believe in our mission. 

Staff

Dr Leangseng, our director and the executive team of Nue, Sophorn, Sovoan, Sitha, Bunsrak, Sothea, Pin and Uon. Your Monday morning meetings set the tone for a successful week. Together with the many hard-working teachers, community workers and librarians, we are continuing to make a big difference in the ever-expanding communities that we serve.

Donors

Rotary Club Sentosa (and Singapore affiliates), RC Hong Kong Central, RC Phnom Metro, your support is the backbone of our major accomplishments this year.

Texel Foundation helping keep 75,000 kids healthy, Katz Foundation, providing 95,000 breakfasts to rural kids, SE Asia Foundation for our Mobile Library. Cordelia Chang for the new tuk-tuk mobile library.



Child’s Dream Cambodia helping to graduate 368 teachers with additional teacher trainers from Battambang Teacher Education College. TWCCTW for the dental program, wells and so much more. Starr Moore for sponsoring training for 62 teachers in Banteay Srey district.



Plus, all the other amazing donors who keep on giving general funds to be used as needed. We couldn’t do any of this without your help.



English Teachers Flourish

We are so proud of the impact that we are making with our English Literacy Training Program. Since 2018, we have trained and graduated 887 English Teachers to go into the schools and teach more than 100,000 Cambodian children English. We have also trained 22 English Trainers to carry on and teach others. Thanks to Starr Moore, another 62 teachers will graduate in Banteay Srey district.

Thanks to Child’s Dream Cambodia for keeping this program going in yet another province.



Financial Transparency

We are proud to report that CCDO has completed a comprehensive external audit of our finances by La Paix Partners and Associates and we passed with flying colors.

“Reference from the auditing in conclusion, CCDO teams, in all material respects, have fulfilled their job transparently and have maximized the funds from donors with due diligence. All findings above would allow CCDO to further and continually improve itself to be a high standard organization and better compliance with Cambodian law. The consultant team is pleased to share and recommend to CCDO donors and other key stakeholders both local and international to further support CCDO’s vision and missions.”



Giving Tuesday

A gentle reminder that Giving Tuesday is on 28 November. This starts the beginning of the Giving Season. CCDO has opted to give you this one-time reminder and not bombard you with an endless email campaign and countdown. We hope that we have your trust and confidence that we spend your funds wisely to have the best ROI (return on investment) in helping our communities flourish. We are grateful for any amount. Every contribution, no matter how small goes a long way in Cambodia.
