An inspiring volunteer: 'You get back what you put in'
Ellie Greenberg is a dedicated philanthropist and long-time volunteer in the Jewish community. Danielle Altonaga, of JET, sat down for a candid talk with her about Jewish life, giving back, and some of her favourite memories.
A group of 26 Ottawans joined Jewish communities across Canada for a historic trip to Israel to mark its 75th anniversary. Ottawa trip participant Peter Waiser shares his recollection of what he calls his most meaningful trip to Israel.
On Shavuot, Jews customarily celebrate by eating dairy foods. To help mark the upcoming holiday, here is a family favourite recipe for blueberry cheesecake based on one by the popular Jewish cooking maven Noreen Gilletz.
