Last Call for Three Children's Books for the Summer Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books is a county-wide competition to encourage children in grades K-5 to strengthen their reading superpowers and read over the summer months to prevent a summer slide. This year’s Battle of the Books will showcase books that celebrate inclusion and the diversity of our community.
Your book will be selected as one of three books to be purchased and distributed to children attending partnering summer camps. To be considered, approximately 250 printed copies of your book must be available for purchase by early May, and participation in the battle competition is required. If you are interested in having your book considered, please complete this application by Sunday, March 20. Finalists will be asked to interview with the planning committee.
