Save Consumer Directed Services as an option for your family!

One email, one phone call... yours could be THE ONE to make a difference!

Budgets are finalized TOMORROW!

Now is the time...

We need your support to save Consumer Directed Services as an option for your family!

Dear Moms In Motion Family-

It's our LAST chance to act on behalf of every individual that relies on a Virginia Medicaid Waiver and utilizes the Consumer Directed Model of service to live and thrive at home with their loved ones rather than in a facility. We believe that everyone deserves a fulfilling quality of life. Our team wants families to continue to have choice and voice when it comes to the path of service they themselves or their loved ones desire. In order for this to continue to be we need your help. We CANNOT do this without you. Without the rate increase requested this service option will face extinction. Many facilitation companies were forced to close their doors in 2023. Help us to help you have these services available to families across the state of Virginia well into the future. You deserve the right to choose your service method for your loved ones. Email all of the legislators and tell them why they need to increase services facilitation rates so that you can continue to choose.

Use the template email below to make the process easier.

Email them all TODAY!

Tomorrow the chambers finalize their budgets!

Act Now!

Subject Line: Please Vote YES on SB30 Item 288 #16s and HB30 Item 288 #14h

Dear Senator/Delegate,

Please make sure the rate increase for consumer directed services is not left out of the budget. This increase is critical in order to build provider capacity and make CD Services sustainable. 3% is not enough, please Vote YES on SB30 Item 288 #16s and HB30 Item 288 #14h. It is important to my family that consumer directed service remain an option!

This is important to me because..... (I am the parent of a child with disabilities and I want to have a say in who cares for them ...OR .... I care for my elderly/disabled loved one and do not want to see them be put into a facility .....etc...)

3% is not enough, please Vote YES to the amendments above and SAVE CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES!

Sincerely,
