Academic Fellowships at Brandeis
The primary goal of Academic Fellowships at Brandeis is to support students’ academic growth and development. The process of applying for a competitive fellowship or research opportunity can help you clarify your goals and set in motion a plan to achieve them. If you are thinking about applying for a fellowship in the future, or just want to learn more about what opportunities are available, you are invited to sign up for our weekly newsletter, where we share information about particular fellowship opportunities, application tips, deadline reminders, and more (you can see an excerpt below). To opt into this list, please email fellowships@brandeis.edu.
Thinking of applying for a Rhodes or Marshall Scholarship?
Rhodes and Marshall Scholarships are post-undergraduate awards that provide funding for Americans to pursue graduate degrees in the UK. Applications are due very early in the fall semester, and all applicants must earn the university endorsement before proceeding to the national competition, so current juniors and seniors interested in applying in Fall 2026 should start thinking about these opportunities NOW! You can learn more about these and other fellowship opportunities here, or schedule an appointment with Meredith Monaghan by emailing fellowships@brandeis.edu, either to talk about a specific fellowship application or to explore which opportunities might be a good match for you.

Study Abroad Now Offering
Passport Photo Services
The Office of Study Abroad is now offering passport photo services at no cost to undergraduate students applying to study abroad or students considering study abroad in the future. We hope that this service will help to ease the burden of securing passport photos for students applying for their first passport, renewing their passport, or applying for a student visa to study abroad.
To request photos, students should submit this form based on the size and purpose of the photo they are requesting. We are available to consult with students who need assistance filling out the form. Photos will be available for pickup on the next following Friday after students submit the form. If students need assistance taking their photo instead of uploading it to the form, we are happy to assist with that as well.
