May 24, 2023

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope that all is well. As noted in the Jr./Sr. High School calendar, final exams will be administered Monday, June 19th, and Tuesday, June 20th. Wednesday, June 21st and Thursday, June 22nd will be half days of instruction with the afternoon reserved for exam conflicts and make-ups. Below you will find the daily schedule for exams and important related information.

  1. For the 2022- 2023 school year, exams will be administered in core subject courses only to grades 9-12 in the above time slots.
  2. Students are required to remain in the classroom for the full 2-hour exam period.
  3. Any student who does not report for a scheduled exam will be required to attend the make-up exam session held in room 105 on June 21st and/or June 22nd starting at 12:30 pm.
  4. Students who fail to appear for an exam and who fail to appear for a make-up will be given an incomplete, with a 10-day window to reschedule.
  5. Senior students are reminded that they must have achieved a 92 or better during each marking period to be eligible for final exam exemption in a full-year course.

Final exams assist us in measuring student progress and monitoring our curriculum and instruction. As always, the faculty and staff appreciate your continued support and cooperation. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Troy Lederman
